The Mega Muscle Expo is an expanded version of our highly popular workshops.
This event is going to be unlike any other! For the first time ever, we
are working with each attendee to help them create their very own editorial
production. Prior to the event, each photographer sits down with Mega Muscle
creator and art director Brian Rusch to discuss the possibilities for their
individual editorial shoot. The first day will be spent working with the
creative teams (including hair and makeup) to make sure the shoot is exactly
what each photographer wants. Finally, after the shoot, Brian will give
pointers and help the shoot achieve editorial publication.
Key drivers behind the Mega Muscle Expos include:
- Photographer's get the opportunity to work one-on-one with a variety of
models. Most of the models we are featuring at this event have been chosen
because they work regularly in commercials, videos, and print editorials.
Each photographer registering before May 5th will get to choose at least
one of the models in attendance to help perfect their production..
- Mentoring by Chris Watson, the primary photographer for Mega Muscle, who
shares his vast knowledge of both natural and artificial lighting techniques.
- Logistical details - scheduling, location and studio rentals, equipment
- handled for you.
- Assistance in developing your work for editorial publication. Mega Muscle
founder Brian Rusch will provide tips for getting the shots that will make
a cohesive story for magazine editors.
- Special group presentation and discussion with photography legend Dianora
Niccolini. She will share her thoughts on preparing your work for gallery
shows and book publication.
- Wardrobe selections that match the direction of each photographer's shoot.
- Hair and makeup.
- Set creation - including hands on preperation.
Attending the Mega Muscle Spring/Summer Expo, you can expect:
- An opportunity to work one-on-one with several of the top fitness and physique
models in the world. These models have appeared in various national and
international publications including Playgirl, Blue, DNA, Men's Health,
Men's Workout, Men's Fitness and many more. Cost includes models' transportation,
lodging, airfare, food and model fee.
- Networking with other photographers from around the globe.
- Education and advice on a variety of lighting techniques for both studio
and location from Mega Muscle photographer Chris Watson.
- Lighting and studio equipment
- Wardrobe Selections - In addition to the normal selections of swimwear
and briefs, we will have a special selection of designer fashions from
some of the world's top fashion designers.
- Prop Selections
- Tips on Art Direction from Mega Muscle founder and world renowned fashion
stylist Brian Rusch.
- Lunch each day of shoot
- Snacks, beverages, protein bars.
- Media download available at an additional cost of $.25/MB
